Office and Shop Relocation in Jeddah 0544866865 | A Move Plan That Keeps You Working

Office and shop relocation in Jeddah is not just carrying furniture from one place to another; it is a job where your working hours matter more than the furniture itself. At Jeddah Dabab Express we build a plan with you that starts a week before the move and ends a day after it. We take desks apart, number crates and move after hours or on days off, so you open in the new place knowing where every file and device is. A piece or trip within a district starts from SAR 65; call or WhatsApp 0544866865 at any hour to arrange it. (A dabab is a small pickup with an open rear bed.)

Office and shop owners in Jeddah know that a day without work costs more than the move itself. The owner of a small clinic, an accounting office, a salon or a clothes shop wants to close in the evening and open in the new place the next morning as if nothing had happened. That is possible when the move is split into clear stages, each team member knows his part and nothing is left to improvisation on the day.

The move plan in a few lines
  • A week before: inventory, labels, a fixed date and the building’s permission.
  • Moving day: dismantle workstations, label cables, load crates, then furniture.
  • After the move: reassemble, reconnect and check everything arrived.
  • Prices start at from SAR 65 for a trip within a district and from SAR 110 between neighbouring districts.
  • A dabab for small offices and shops; a wanet or dyna for bigger ones.

What this service is and when it suits you

It is moving an office or commercial shop from one site to another within Jeddah or to a nearby city, with its furniture, equipment, files, shelving and counters. It suits you if your lease has ended and you are moving to a larger building, if you have opened a new shop in another district, or if you are reorganising a company office. It differs from a home move because the schedule is governed by the clock, equipment and files are sensitive, and the building may set conditions on entry and exit.

The size of the dabab is the dividing line. An office of one or two rooms, or a small shop with shelving and a counter, fits one dabab or a dabab on two trips, which is cheaper and faster in busy districts. A company office with many workstations, or a large shop with long shelving and display fridges, calls for a wanet or dyna, and we tell you so frankly on the first call.

What you are moving Does a dabab do it? Note
An office of one or two rooms Yes One or two trips
An office with several workstations Depends on the number More than six workstations suits a wanet
A small shop with light shelving Yes After dismantling and bundling the shelves
A large counter or heavy safe Depends on weight We check size and floor before booking
Archives and files Yes In numbered crates
A showroom with long shelving Usually not A wanet or dyna
A whole company over several floors No A dyna or several coordinated vehicles

We choose the right vehicle after a photo or a furniture list.

The plan: a week before, moving day and after

A move that goes without surprises starts early. We divide it into three stages, each with the tasks that cut confusion and protect your work.

A week before

Start with an inventory: write down the desks, chairs, cabinets, equipment and crates, and decide what moves and what is left or sold. Then get permission from both the current and the new building if needed, and ask about service-lift hours and floor-protection rules. Next, call us with the list and photos, and we tell you the right vehicle, the number of movers and the trip time. In this week, pack the archive into crates and discard what you do not need, since every carton fewer is time saved on the day.

Moving day

We arrive at the agreed time and begin with what your work does not need that day: the archive and secondary furniture. Workstations come in the final hour, where we take each one apart and number its parts and cables before lifting. We load the heaviest first and lowest, strap the crates and cover wooden tops with blankets. At the new site we reverse the order: core working equipment first, so your team can start early.

After the move

The next day, check the list: have all crates arrived, have the devices been tested, have the desks been rebuilt in order? If anything is missing or scratched, tell us at once so we can follow up with you. This is also the time to reset the internet and printers with a network technician, who handles that, not us.

Inventory, labels and workstation dismantling

Numbering is the secret of an orderly move. We put a label with a number and a word on each item, write the crate’s number and general contents on it, and record everything on one list. On arrival we match the list to the pieces, so you know everything is present, and if something is missing we know where to look immediately.

For workstations we follow a fixed order: photograph the connections from behind before taking anything apart, unplug the cables and label each with a number and its port with the same number, then bag the cables per workstation. The desks have their legs and drawers removed and their edges protected, and partitions are wrapped and bundled together. At the new site we rebuild each workstation in reverse order, so it comes out as it was, and that precision saves your team hours of searching and reconnecting.

Item What we do Note
Desks Remove legs and drawers, number the parts Tops wrapped in blankets
Partitions Take down, wrap and bundle together Each side numbered
Chairs Film-wrapped and stacked upright Wheels secured
Computers and printers In their boxes or in blankets, lined up Setup and network left to the technician
Equipment cables Label the cable and its port, photograph A bag per workstation
File cabinets Emptied, moved locked against the keys Files in numbered crates
Heavy safe Inspected, floor measured before booking May need several movers and a dolly

Packing, equipment and buildings without a lift

Our kit is blankets, stretch film, cardboard corners, straps, a hand trolley, an appliance dolly and ropes. We cover wooden and glass desk tops with blankets, wrap chairs in film and put numbered crates on the hand trolley, not on the floor. We never put anything heavy on screens or equipment, and we separate them from furniture with dividers.

Many Jeddah offices and shops are on upper floors with no lift, or with a small lift that will not take desks. There we dismantle pieces into sizes that pass safely, wheel the crates to the stairs and then carry them in turns, pausing at the landings. Where a service lift exists, we reserve its time with building management and protect its walls and floor with blankets as the rules require.

Building permission first
Many buildings demand prior permission and fixed times for furniture to enter and leave. Get it before moving day and tell us the conditions, so we are not stopped at the gate and the slot is not lost.

Moving after hours and on days off

Because downtime is the real loss, we advise moving after the office closes in the evening or on a day off. So you close on Thursday evening and open on Sunday morning, say, in your new place. For shops that depend on evening customers, early morning before opening suits better. We agree the time that the building and neighbours allow, and ask the movers to keep quiet so nobody is disturbed.

Remember that days off are the busiest booking days, so book early and do not wait for the last week. The clearer everything is before the date, the fewer hours the movers spend and the lower the cost.

Shops, shelving and counters

Shop moves have their own method. Metal shelves are dismantled with their bolts in a numbered bag, a wooden counter is covered and carried by at least two men, and display fridges are moved upright once emptied and switched off. A shop that is moving needs its stock carried in a separate trip after the shelves are ready at the new place, so cartons do not pile up with nowhere to go.

For the stock itself and moving inventory between branches, see moving shop goods in Jeddah; for display appliances and ACs, moving household appliances in Jeddah.

What office and shop moving costs

Pricing follows the number of pieces, the distance, the floor, the lift and the working hours, so there is no single figure for every office. These are the starting prices from our list, and our Jeddah dabab prices page has more:

Service Price
A piece or trip within a district from SAR 65
A load between neighbouring districts (small office or shop) from SAR 110
A move from north to south Jeddah from SAR 185
Wanet small / medium / large from SAR 140 · from SAR 230 · from SAR 320
Split AC removed, moved and refitted from SAR 230
Dismantling and assembling desks, shelves and partitions Set by pieces; ask for an itemised quote
Moving after hours or on a day off Agreed at booking
Moving offices to Makkah and Taif Set by load and destination

What raises the price is high floors without a lift, many pieces, long waits on the building and dismantling and assembly. What lowers it is a prior inventory, getting rid of surplus and being ready when we arrive. More savings ideas are in cheapest dabab furniture moving in Jeddah.

Tips and common mistakes

Keep the vital papers with you
Contracts, original papers, keys and backup disks go in a bag you carry yourself. Never leave them in the vehicle, however much you trust the team.
Never unplug cables without labelling
The most time lost after a move is spent reconnecting. A few seconds of photographing and numbering before dismantling saves hours afterwards.
The lift slot is a common trap
Missing a service-lift slot can cost you your turn for hours. Fix the time with management before moving day and tell us.
Tell us what you do not know
A very heavy piece, a narrow staircase or a door that is too small: tell us before the date. A surprise on moving day costs more than a question beforehand.

How to choose the right service

First ask how big your move is: the number of workstations, the weight of the heaviest piece, the floors and whether the building has a lift. Then ask about your time: can you close for a day or a night? Then compare offers with clear questions:

  • Do you make a staged plan, or just turn up on moving day?
  • Do you dismantle and number workstations and cables?
  • Can you move after hours or on a day off?
  • Is the price final before loading, and does it state floors and dismantling?
  • Which vehicle suits my office size, and will you tell me if a dabab is not enough?

If you have large office furniture such as cabinets and wooden desks, read furniture transport in Jeddah; for our general service see Jeddah furniture moving dabab.

Frequently asked questions

Is a dabab enough to move a small office?

Yes. An office of one or two rooms with desks, chairs, a filing cabinet, crates and equipment fits one dabab or a dabab on two trips. If yours is bigger, a wanet or dyna is better and we say so plainly.

How do I reduce downtime during a move?

Move in stages: archives and furniture you do not use daily first, then workstations on the last working day or at the weekend, and prepare the new space before the equipment arrives. We also move after hours so you open in the new place in the morning.

Do you move after hours or at weekends?

Yes. We arrange the slot with you in the evening or on a day off, within what your building allows, so you start work in the new place without interruption.

Do you dismantle and reassemble workstations?

Yes. We take apart desks and partitions, number every piece and rebuild them in the new office in the same order. Ask for an itemised quote because the price follows the number of pieces.

How do you handle equipment cables?

We photograph the connections before taking them apart and put a numbered label on every cable and its matching port, so reconnecting needs no guesswork. Networking is left to a network technician.

Do you move files and archives?

Yes, in numbered, strapped crates that we carry upright, not loose, and hand over against a list you match at unloading.

Do you coordinate with the service lift and building management?

We rely on the building permission that you obtain, and arrange the time with you to fit the service-lift hours. Tell us about any conditions the building sets.

How much does moving a small shop cost in Jeddah?

A piece or trip within a district starts from SAR 45, a load between neighbouring districts from SAR 110, and a north-to-south Jeddah load from SAR 185. The final price is agreed before loading.

When do I need a wanet or dyna instead of a dabab?

When there are many or long pieces, such as large desks, a counter or several shelving units. A small wanet starts from SAR 140, medium from SAR 230 and large from SAR 320; a dyna for big loads is quoted on request.

Do you move offices to Makkah and Taif?

Yes, with advance booking, priced by load and destination. Ask for an itemised quote before the date.
